Which language do you translate?

I translate from English to Japanese.

How much do you charge?

It depends on content and timeline, but the minimum rate is 0.15 USD/word. I can work on hourly base as well, so please contact me for more details.

What do I need to get a quote?

Please let me know the details of the project, the volume, and the timeline.

Can you translate anything?

I’m specialized in creative translation, but I can cover a wide range of business needs. I cannot translate highly technical content such as legal, medical, and patent.

Can you do QC or LQA?

I can perform QC but not LQA.

Do you work on subtitles?

I’m familiar with all the rules and requirement for subtitles from my experience at Netflix. I can make a subtitle for a short form such as instruction or marketing video. For a long form such as movies and TV series, I can do QC.

Can you localize beyond just "translation"?

I have done many localization projects for clients including consulting and giving feedback on what works/doesn’t work for Japanese people. I love working with clients who want to localize the content for each marketing, so please let me help you to be successful!
